- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 2 tbsp hot honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp honey
- Red chili flakes to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Arrange chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk together hot honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, honey, and chili flakes.
- Once chicken is cooked, brush generously with the hot honey sauce and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve the chicken over rice or in a bowl with fresh herbs, drizzled with extra sauce if desired.
Notes
- You can use chicken breasts for a leaner option.
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less chili flakes.
- Best enjoyed immediately but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
