Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sear until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, stir in basil leaves, and simmer for 5 minutes to infuse flavor.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish, pour basil cream sauce over the top, and sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly.
- Bake in the oven for 20 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Optional: garnish with grated Parmesan before serving.
