Ingredients
Scale
- 200g of feta cheese
- 400g of cherry tomatoes (or grape tomatoes)
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 250g of your favorite pasta (penne, fusilli, spaghetti)
- Fresh basil leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red chili flakes (optional for extra spice)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place cherry tomatoes and minced garlic on a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, and red chili flakes if desired. Crumble the feta cheese over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until tomatoes burst and feta turns golden, creating a flavorful mixture.
- While baking, cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Remove the baked feta and tomato mixture. Gently stir to create a creamy sauce. Toss in the cooked pasta, then garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve hot.
Notes
- Use ripe cherry tomatoes for maximum flavor.
- Do not overcook the feta; bake until just golden for the best creaminess.
- Adjust seasoning with extra garlic or chili flakes as preferred.
- Fresh basil enhances aroma and freshness.
