- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice and zest of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil and garlic, cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the asparagus and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender but crisp.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet, add lemon juice and zest, season with salt and pepper, and toss to combine.
- Cook for another 2 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.

- Adjust cooking time based on the size of the shrimp.
- Serve with rice or crusty bread for a complete meal.
