Ingredients

- 1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 12 oz (340g) pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup (100g) shredded provolone cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced steak and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add sliced onions and peppers to the skillet. Sauté until vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Reduce heat to low; add cooked pasta and shredded cheese. Toss until cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute provolone with mozzarella or cheese of your choice.
- For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free pasta.
- For extra flavor, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce during cooking.
