  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add ice water until dough comes together.
  2. Divide dough in half, shape into disks, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out one disk on a floured surface and fit into a 9-inch pie dish.
