- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shredded chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in BBQ sauce and honey, cooking for 2 minutes until well combined.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet, then stir in cheddar cheese, sour cream, and milk. Cook until cheese melts and sauce is creamy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute cooked turkey or chicken breast for shredded chicken.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of smoked paprika or garlic powder.
