Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar until well combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing until smooth.
- Fold in chocolate chips and crushed cookies.
- Pour batter into prepared baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out moist but not raw.
- Allow to cool slightly, then spread a layer of chocolate fudge topping before slicing.
