- 2 cups cooked pasta (penne or macaroni)
- 1 cup shredded cooked BBQ chicken
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened.
- Stir in shredded cheese, Parmesan, and barbecue sauce until melted and fully combined.
- Add cooked pasta and BBQ chicken to the sauce. Mix well.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
- Feel free to substitute with rotisserie chicken for added convenience.
- For extra smoky flavor, add a dash of smoked paprika.
