Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan. Mix remaining batter with a teaspoon of cinnamon and swirl into the first layer.
  6. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • You can add chopped nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
  • Use very ripe bananas for best sweetness and banana flavor.
