- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions
- Place the sliced carrots into the slow cooker.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the maple syrup, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Pour the glaze over the carrots in the slow cooker and stir to coat evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours until carrots are tender and glazed.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving if desired.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar or maple syrup.
- For a richer flavor, add a splash of balsamic vinegar to the glaze.
