Ingredients

- 1 pound flank steak or sirloin, sliced thinly
- 2 bell peppers (red and green), sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 teaspoons water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced beef and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining oil, garlic, and sliced onions. Cook until onions are translucent, about 2 minutes.
- Add bell peppers and cook for another 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
- Return beef to the skillet, add soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Pour in the cornstarch mixture and cook until the sauce thickens, about 1 minute.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
- Use thinly sliced flank steak for best results.
- You can substitute chicken or tofu for a different variation.
- Adjust the soy sauce for saltiness preference.
