Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound flank steak or sirloin, sliced thinly
  • 2 bell peppers (red and green), sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 teaspoons water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

  4. Add bell peppers and cook for another 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
  5. Return beef to the skillet, add soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  6. Pour in the cornstarch mixture and cook until the sauce thickens, about 1 minute.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
