- 1 package of fresh tortellini (about 20 ounces)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- Fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add grated Parmesan cheese, stir until melted and smooth.
- Stir in cherry tomatoes and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
- Add cooked tortellini to the sauce, toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with chopped basil, salt, and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
