Instructions
- Cook the tortellini in salted boiling water according to package instructions, then drain.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet and toss with basil pesto until evenly coated.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
- Serve immediately garnished with extra Parmesan and basil leaves.
Notes
- For a creamier sauce, add a splash of heavy cream when tossing the pasta.
- Replace basil pesto with sun-dried tomato pesto for a variation.
