Enjoy a quick and easy Honey Garlic Ground Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry that’s perfect for busy weeknights. This savory dish combines tender broccoli, flavorful ground beef, and a sweet garlic honey sauce, all ready in under 30 minutes for a nutritious and delicious meal.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: mince garlic, grate ginger if using, and set aside broccoli florets.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with salt and pepper. Remove cooked beef and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed. Stir-fry broccoli until tender and crisp about 4-5 minutes. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Return the cooked ground beef to the skillet. Add honey and soy sauce, stirring to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to meld flavors. Drizzle with sesame oil if desired. Adjust seasonings as needed.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if preferred. Pair with rice, noodles, or cauliflower rice for a complete meal.

Notes

  • Use lean ground beef for a healthier dish. Feel free to use higher fat ground beef for richer flavor.
  • Adjust sweetness: add more honey if desired, balancing with soy sauce.
  • Cut broccoli into uniform pieces for even cooking.
  • Prepping ingredients beforehand makes the cooking process smoother and faster.
