Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Lightly dredge them in flour.

- In the same skillet, add butter and garlic; sauté until fragrant.
- Add lemon juice, lemon zest, and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over, and cook for another 2 minutes to coat.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot with your favorite sides.
Notes
- Adjust lemon juice for more tang if desired.
- You can substitute chicken thighs for breasts for juicier results.
- Serve with rice or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
