Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Salt, pepper, paprika, Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley
- Optional: hot sauce
Instructions
- Season the chicken strips with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add seasoned chicken and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Add minced garlic in the last minute and stir well. Remove from heat.
- Lay out the flour tortillas and evenly distribute the cooked chicken onto each. Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the chicken. Add optional parsley or hot sauce if desired.
- Fold the sides inward and roll the tortillas tightly to secure the filling.
- For a melted cheese effect, place wraps on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted.
- Serve warm, garnished with extra parsley or lemon if desired.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- Reheat in microwave for 1-2 minutes or in the oven at 350°F until heated through and cheese is melted.
