Irresistible Cheesy Ranch & Smoked Sausage Bake is a hearty and flavorful dish combining smoky sausage, tender potatoes, and a creamy ranch cheese topping. Perfect for family dinners and gatherings, this easy-to-make baked casserole offers smoky, cheesy goodness in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sliced smoked sausage until browned and slightly crispy. Set aside.
  3. Slice potatoes thinly and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer sliced potatoes in the prepared baking dish. Spread half of the cooked sausage over potatoes. Repeat layers, then sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and ranch seasoning mix.
  5. Dollop sour cream over the top and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • For added flavor, garnish with chopped parsley or chives.
