Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or mozzarella cheese
- 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
- 1/2 cup sour cream or ranch dressing (for dipping, optional)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with paprika, salt, and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. In the last minute, add minced garlic to infuse flavor. Let the chicken rest, then slice into thin strips.
- Lay a flour tortilla flat. Place chicken slices in the center, sprinkle generously with shredded cheese, and add chopped parsley if desired. Roll up the tortilla tightly to form a wrap, sealing the seams.
- For extra crispiness, grill or toast the wraps in a skillet or electric grill for 2-3 minutes per side until the cheese melts and a golden crust forms. Alternatively, bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes until bubbly and slightly crispy.
Notes
- Use freshly minced garlic for optimal flavor.
- Choose soft, fresh tortillas for easier rolling.
- Pre-melt the cheese slightly for a more gooey texture if desired.
- Serve immediately for best flavor and texture.
