Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in chopped onion and garlic; cook until fragrant.
- Add crushed tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
- Stir in broken lasagna noodles and reduce heat. Simmer for 15-20 minutes or until noodles are tender.
- Ladle soup into bowls and top with shredded mozzarella and fresh basil.
