A rich and creamy chicken alfredo pasta that combines tender chicken, al dente noodles, and a velvety sauce, perfect for a comforting and nutritious meal

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225g) fettuccine or your favorite pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream or coconut cream for a healthier option
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken slices and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in grated parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Return cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the skillet, mixing well to combine all ingredients.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and extra parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half or Greek yogurt instead of heavy cream.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for added nutrition.
