Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch or arrowroot powder (for crispiness)
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- WASH and peel the sweet potatoes, then cut into evenly-sized French fry shapes.
- TOSS the cut fries in a large bowl with 2 tablespoons of olive oil until well coated.
- COMBINE the cornstarch, sea salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
- SPRINKLE the spice mixture over the fries and toss to evenly coat.
- PREHEAT the oven to 425°F (220°C). Arrange the fries on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced out for crispiness.

- OPTIONAL: Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for extra crunch. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.

- Make sure to cut the sweet potatoes into uniform sizes for even cooking.
- Spacing the fries on the baking sheet enhances crispiness.
- Flip the fries halfway through the baking process for even browning.
- Adjust baking time based on fry size and oven performance.
