Ingredients

- 200g spaghetti
- 400g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
- Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and lemon juice, stirring to combine.
- Return shrimp to skillet, toss with sauce and cooked pasta.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level with more or less red pepper flakes.
- For added richness, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
