- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 3/4 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- For coating: 1 cup granulated sugar, 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- For glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2-3 tablespoons milk, optional vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and a teaspoon of sugar; let sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter, eggs, vanilla, remaining sugar, and a pinch of salt; mix well.
- Gradually add flour and knead until a soft dough forms. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
- Punch down dough and divide into small balls. Roll each ball in cinnamon sugar mixture and arrange in a greased bundt pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly before inverting onto a serving plate.
- Whisk powdered sugar with milk and vanilla to make glaze. Drizzle over warm monkey bread before serving.
