- 4 cups sliced apples
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Place sliced apples in the crockpot.
- Pour caramel sauce evenly over the apples.
- Sprinkle the cake mix over the caramel and apples.
- Pour melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- If using, sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours or until bubbling and bubbly.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for an extra special treat. You can substitute fresh or frozen apples as desired.
