- 1 pound ground beef or chicken
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 package frozen tater tots
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook ground beef or chicken in a skillet until browned. Add diced onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; cook until onion is soft.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked meat, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and half of the shredded cheese.
- Spread the mixture evenly in a greased casserole dish.
- Arrange frozen tater tots evenly on top of the meat mixture.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese over the tater tots.
- Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes until hot and bubbly, and tots are golden brown.
