- 1 lb chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
- 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
- 4 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with soy sauce and cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger; sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add honey, rice vinegar, and toasted sesame oil; stir well to combine.
- Return crispy chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat with sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes until heated through.
- Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.

- Adjust sweetness by varying honey or maple syrup amounts.
- Use chicken thighs for juicier results.
- Serve over steamed rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
