- 1 lb thinly sliced beef (sirloin or ribeye)
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 slices provolone cheese, shredded or sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: hot sauce or steak sauce for serving
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove beef and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil and sauté peppers and onions until tender and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
- Return beef to the skillet, mix well, and cook for another 2 minutes to combine flavors.
- Pour cooked rice into serving bowls, top with beef and vegetable mixture, then evenly distribute slices of provolone cheese on top.
- Cover bowls for 2-3 minutes until cheese melts, or place under a broiler for melted cheese.
- Serve hot with optional hot sauce or steak sauce.

- For a gluten-free option, ensure all ingredients, including sauces, are gluten-free.
- Feel free to add sautéed mushrooms or jalapenos for extra flavor.
- You can substitute the beef with chicken or turkey slices for variation.
