- 1 cup pumpkin puree

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, eggs, and melted butter until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just incorporated.
- Fill the donut cavities about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with caramel.
Notes
- For a lighter version, replace some of the sugar with honey or maple syrup.
- Use real pumpkin puree for authentic flavor.
