Instructions
- Layer sliced potatoes in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Sauté ground beef, onion, and garlic until browned; drain excess fat.
- Spread the cooked beef mixture over the potatoes.
- Pour beef broth over the layers.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until potatoes are tender.
- Sprinkle with shredded cheese during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
