- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread evenly over the baked crust.
- Gently fold blueberries into the cream cheese mixture or scatter on top evenly.
- Bake for another 25-30 minutes until the edges are golden and the filling is set.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
- For a garnish, add extra blueberries or a dusting of powdered sugar.
- Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Use fresh blueberries for the best flavor and texture.
