- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a baking pan to form the crust.
- Bake crust for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, combine blueberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat. Simmer until blueberries burst and mixture thickens, about 10 minutes. Let cool.
- In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Spread over the baked crust.
- Spread the cooled blueberry filling evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Chill the bars for at least 2 hours before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Use fresh blueberries for the best flavor. You can substitute with frozen berries if needed.
- Chill the bars thoroughly for cleaner slices.
