- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (for coating)
- Chocolate sauce (optional, for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and add flour all at once, stirring vigorously until a dough forms.
- Let the dough cool slightly, then beat in the egg until smooth.
- Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip.
- Pipe small bite-sized strips onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Toss the baked bites in the cinnamon sugar mixture while warm.
- Drizzle with chocolate sauce if desired before serving.

- You can substitute chocolate sauce with caramel or fruit compote for variation.
