Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9-inch square baking pan.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Let it cool slightly.
- In the same bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder; stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares. Optional: dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate.
