- 1.5 lbs boneless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into pieces
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Place chicken pieces in the slow cooker.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and add garlic, spices, and tomato sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Pour the sauce over chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Stir in heavy cream and cook for another 15 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
For a spicier version, add cayenne pepper. Serve with naan bread or basmati rice for a complete meal.
