Instructions

- Add butter carefully and stir until melted and combined.
- Slowly pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly, until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and sea salt.
- Allow caramel to cool slightly, then pour over baked cake or dessert base.
- Sprinkle with additional sea salt if desired and serve chilled.
