- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- In a skillet, heat marinara sauce over medium heat. Add cooked meatballs and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Top with shredded mozzarella and serve hot with pasta or bread.
Notes
- You can substitute beef with ground turkey or chicken for a healthier option.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
