- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
- Remove from oven and transfer meatballs to a baking dish with marinara sauce.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese melts and bubbly.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
- Add red pepper flakes for extra spice.
- Serve these meatballs with spaghetti or crusty bread for a complete meal.
