- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian herbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Remove excess fat.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in tomato sauce and Italian herbs. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook orzo in boiling salted water until al dente, drain.
- Add cooked orzo to the skillet with the beef and tomato mixture. Stir in heavy cream and cook until heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- You can add grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
- For a spicier variation, include red pepper flakes.
