- 2 pounds beef sirloin or stew meat, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Place beef pieces in the slow cooker.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Pour garlic butter over beef in the slow cooker.
- Add soy sauce, black pepper, thyme, and salt. Toss to coat evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until beef is tender.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
