  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups beef or chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 8 oz pasta (ziti or rotini)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet until cooked through. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Transfer to the crockpot.

  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  5. Add pasta during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
