- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef and diced onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add garlic, salt, and pepper and cook for 1 minute.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked rice, beef mixture, peas, carrots, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for beef.
- Add hot sauce or spices for extra flavor.
- Use fresh vegetables if preferred.
