- 8 ounces andouille sausage, sliced
- 12 ounces penne pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon cajun seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup chopped green onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add sausage slices and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cajun seasoning; sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream; bring to a simmer.
- Add pasta, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pasta is al dente, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Notes
- You can substitute the sausage with chicken or shrimp for variation.
- Adjust the Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less spice.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley or green onions.
