- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate chicken with yogurt, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Set aside for 15 minutes.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onions and cook until translucent.
- Add garlic and ginger; sauté for 1 minute.
- Add tomato paste, garam masala, cumin, and paprika; cook for 2 minutes.
- Add marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan.

- You can substitute heavy cream with coconut milk for a dairy-free version.
