- 1 sheet of refrigerated puff pastry
- 1 cup chopped broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Steam or microwave broccoli until tender, then chop finely.
- In a bowl, mix chopped broccoli, shredded cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Unroll puff pastry onto a lightly floured surface. Spread the broccoli cheese mixture evenly over the pastry.
- Roll the pastry tightly from one edge to the other to form a log.
- Slice the roll into 1-inch thick pinwheels and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
