- 1 lb boneless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup spicy aioli or mayo
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Dredge in cornstarch until well coated.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- In a bowl, combine aioli, chili sauce, and rice vinegar to make the sauce.
- Toss the fried chicken in the spicy sauce until evenly coated.
- Serve the chicken in bowls, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, alongside vegetables if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute the chicken with tofu for a vegetarian version.
- Adjust spice level by increasing or decreasing chili sauce.
