- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 1 medium onion, chopped

- 1 can diced tomatoes (14 oz)
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, then drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, sauté until translucent.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Add orzo pasta, stir well, cover, and cook for about 10 minutes or until orzo is tender and liquid is absorbed.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
- For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes or fresh basil.
- Top with additional Parmesan and fresh herbs before serving.
