- 1 cup pastina or tiny pasta
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth

- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic; sauté until translucent.
- Pour in broth and bring to a boil.
- Add pastina and cook until tender, about 7-9 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, garnished with Parmesan and herbs.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken broth for a vegetarian version using vegetable broth.
- For added flavor, include a squeeze of lemon or a dash of red pepper flakes.
