Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cans (8 oz) of sliced peaches in syrup, drained
- 1 package refrigerated cinnamon roll dough (or homemade dough)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella or cream cheese (optional, for extra creaminess)
- Fresh peach slices for garnish (optional)
- Powdered sugar, for glazing (optional)
Instructions
- Mix brown sugar with ground cinnamon and vanilla extract in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Unroll the cinnamon roll dough and spread the drained peaches evenly over the dough. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the peaches, ensuring an even coat.
- Carefully roll the dough into a tight log, then cut into 8 equal pieces. Place them in a greased baking dish, snugly together.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
Notes
- Drain canned peaches thoroughly to prevent excess moisture.
- For a creamier filling, add shredded mozzarella or cream cheese before rolling.
- Ensure the rolls are placed close together to prevent them from separating during baking.
- Feel free to customize with additional toppings like whipped cream or fresh fruit for extra flavor.
