- 1 large head of green cabbage
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Core the cabbage and blanch leaves in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until flexible. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat, cooked rice, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Lay a cabbage leaf flat, place a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center, and roll tightly, tucking in the sides.
- Arrange the rolls in a baking dish, seam side down.
- Mix tomato sauce with Worcestershire sauce and pour over the rolls.
- Cover with foil and bake for 40-45 minutes until cooked through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

- For extra flavor, add diced mushrooms or carrots into the filling.
